Westrafo to open plant in Ohio
Westrafo Srl has announced plans to open a North American production facility in Trotwood, Ohio. The new 231,000-sq.-ft. site, which will produce medium-voltage transformers and energy systems, joins the company’s existing plants in Vicenza, Italy, and Tema, Ghana.
Production is scheduled to begin in July 2025, and the plant is expected to reach a production output of 12 GW per year starting in 2027.
