Eastern Metal Supply to open new location in Louisiana

Eastern Metal Supply, a value-added-service distributor of aluminum extrusions and sheet products, is expanding with a new facility in Hammond, La. The location is scheduled to open its doors in early June.

The 80,000-sq.-ft. facility will offer standard aluminum extrusions and sheet products, as well as hurricane protection products. The company also serves as an extension of its customers’ manufacturing processes by providing vendor-managed inventory on custom profiles to help ensure JIT delivery.

The new site, serving customers in Louisiana and Mississippi, also will serve as a wholesale shutter manufacturing facility, specializing in roll-downs and accordions for outfitting homes and businesses with hurricane protection.
