LED UV-cured black coating adds durability to steel pipe
Fayette Pipe's FayetteGuard
Fayette Pipe has announced the launch of FayetteGuard, an LED UV-cured paint system for black steel pipe exteriors. This black sheen coating helps ensure protection, energy efficiency, and durability in fire protection, plumbing, and HVAC applications.
The LED UV-curing technology uses high-intensity electronic UV light to solidify instantly the photo-reactive substances used in the paint. This method differs from traditional drying methods, which rely on evaporation or absorption to solidify chemistry.
