Face shields designed for comfortable protection in welding, cutting applications
Studson face shield
Studson has introduced three face shields built to fit the SHK-1 full-brim safety helmet. Designed with Paulson Manufacturing, the shields feature a weight-compensating slotted cap bracket to help increase balance and wearer comfort.
The arc flash tint shield offers an arc thermal protective value rating of 12 cal/cm² to protect against arc flash hazards. Its HT nanoparticle lens provides a clear view while resisting impact. The clear shield offers unobstructed visibility in high-temeprature and high-impact situations.
The shade 5 green tint shield helps protect eyes from radiation while providing a clear view of gas welding and cutting operation, even in severe industrial service sitautions.
