Alliance Fabrication and Manufacturing adds folding machine
Gary, Ind.-based Alliance Fabrication and Manufacturing has installed a Megabend updown folding machine from RAS Systems.
The machine performs updown bending on thick and thin materials and handles large, labor-intensive parts. It achieves straight bends in all material types with long or short flanges, whether bending in the center of the machine or on the side.
The folding system joins Alliance’s existing equipment for automated robotic welding, manual welding, metal forming, laser cutting, kitting, mechanical assembly, and stretcher leveling.
