Arc-Zone.com Inc.®’s Sharpie™ hand-held tungsten electrode grinder now is available in a cordless model. The unit allows electrode prep anywhere in the shop, and it is compact enough to carry up scaffolding on the job site. The cordless model is available in entry-level standard (SD) or deluxe (DX) models.
The standard model has a preset 20-degree grind angle suitable for DC welding applications. The deluxe model is adjustable from 15 to 45 degrees for AC and DC jobs. Both models feature an industrial-grade diamond wheel, built-in tip flat, and cutoff capability. They accommodate tungsten electrode sizes 0.040, 1/16, 3/32, and 1/8 in.
