DEWALT introduces corded brushless grinders
- November 27, 2018
- Product Release
- Power Tools
DEWALT® has introduced corded grinders featuring brushless motors that offer durability without requiring brush changes, the company states.
At 5.3 lbs. and 13.4 in. long, the DWE43231VS 5-in. slide switch small-angle grinder achieves up to 13 amps and 1,800 MWO. It features the E-Clutch® system, which shuts down the motor automatically when a wheel pinch is detected, and a kickback brake. It also comes with two removable mesh screens that help to block debris from entering the tool during use. Finally, the grinder has an on/off trigger switch that has a no-volt release function to help prevent accidental turn-on.
The DWE43244N 5-in./6-in. paddle switch small-angle grinder and DWE43265N 5-in./6-in. trigger switch small-angle grinder feature the Lanyard Ready™ integrated lanyard connection point, E-Clutch System, kickback brake, and brake. The brake quickly brings the wheel to a stop in 1 second or less when the trigger is released while using 6-in., Type 1 cutting wheels. Suitable for metalworking applications, the 6-lb., 13.6-in.-long paddle switch grinder achieves up to 13 amps and 1,800 MWO.
