Kalamazoo Industries develops TruArc abrasive wheel oscillation system
Kalamazoo Industries has developed a new abrasive wheel oscillation system called TruArc™. The oscillation system moves the wheel laterally rather than up and down, providing a greater arc of contact, which results in faster cutting, the company reports.
Wheel travel can be adjusted from 1/32 in. to almost 1 in. The system can reduce the time to cut superalloys from minutes to seconds.
