JW Aluminum receives Industry Innovation & Productivity Award

JW Aluminum has received the Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce’s 2018 Industry Innovation & Productivity Award, which recognizes the company’s current expansion at its Goose Creek, S.C., facility.
The $250 million expansion represents the most significant capital investment in domestic aluminum continuous cast technologies and capabilities since 2001, says the company. It includes construction of a 220,000-sq.-ft. building and the installation of new equipment. JW Aluminum will add 50 new jobs as part of the expansion.
