Water Jet Sweden’s FAWJ micro head package cuts fine parts
Water Jet Sweden has introduced the fine abrasive water jet (FAWJ) micro head package for use on its ordinary machine models. The micro head is designed for customers who want to cut fine parts with high precision and incisions as narrow as 0.008 in., without the need for the most extreme micro part tolerances.
The FAWJ process uses very fine abrasives to cut metals and other hard materials leaving a smooth surface that requires little or no postprocessing. It can cut very thick materials as well, depending on the type.
The micro head upgrade can be used on the company’s regular machine models, X-series and Premium, as well as existing, similar-size machines.subscribe now
