Kalamazoo Industries has custom-fabricated the model K44E 44-in. enclosed wet abrasive metallurgical saw to meet a customer’s requirements for cutting superalloys.

Inside the saw’s 10-ft.-high enclosure, the saw head rides on a vertical column instead of the conventional hinge or pivot-style saw for a stable cut. Features include a 75-HP motor, flood cooling, a semiautomatic hydraulic system with a rapid feed advance override button, flow control valve, TruArc™ oscillation, external vise controls, pump and tank system, left and right through ports, and electrical and hydraulic quick disconnects.

Options include door safety interlocks, air-operated chain vise, and air-operated jawed vise.
