Robotic thermal profile processor offers reduced footprint

Voortman Steel Machinery has introduced the V807 robotic thermal profile processor. This plasma and oxyfuel system has a reduced footprint and reduced installation time and logistics compared to the V808 profile processor, but without any loss of processing power or throughput efficiency.

Installation is simplified with a pick-and-place design; nearly all the machine hardware and electronics are contained in the main cabinet.

Automated cross-transports and roller conveyors can get the next profiles ready for processing while the current piece is being cut. The system’s robot can reach all four sides of the material without needing to turn the profile, so layout marking, bolt holes, slots, and rat holes can be processed in a single pass.
