Evident’s PRECiV 1.2 software adds advanced imaging and measurement tools

Evident has released PRECiV 1.2 imaging and measurement software. It supports a variety of imaging conditions—including brightfield, darkfield, polarization, and all standard imaging conditions—using Olympus and select third-party products. New manual and automatic modes help users capture panorama or extended focal images of inspection samples with or without motorization and perform simple 3D measurements.

Dedicated workflows enable users to conduct measurements that comply with international standards and directly export standardized and customizable reports. Additional functions such as time lapse, XY positions, and 3D image stack acquisitions provide flexibility when evaluating samples. Its macro recorder helps simplify workflows by automating repetitive tasks and improving measurement repeatability.
