ZA6 robot from Tormach offers 13-lb. payload capacity
Tormach Inc. has launched the ZA6 robot, designed to carry a 13-lb. payload through a reach of 38 in. with speed and +/-0.020-in. repeatability. Built to industrial standards using EtherCAT servomotors, harmonic gear drives, and aluminum castings, the robot requires only 20 amps of single-phase 220 VAC.
The robot uses Python as its programming language and is powered by PathPilot, the company’s control software.
