Mahr Inc. appoints director of operations

Providence, R.I.-based Mahr Inc., a provider of dimensional metrology equipment, has promoted Don Foisy to director of operations. He joined the company in 2011 as design engineering supervisor and later was promoted to engineering manager.

Foisy has more than 17 years of industry experience. He previously served as a mechanical engineer at John Crane and as a product engineering manager at Dresser-Masoneilan. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the New England Institute of Technology.
