K&S celebrates 50 years in business
Ixonia, Wis.-based K&S Manufacturing, a certified woman-owned business offering metal fabricating capabilities such as welding, bending, laser cutting, and assembly, is marking its 50th anniversary.
Founded in 1974 by tool- and diemaker Thomas Klusken as K&S Tool & Die in Oconomowoc, Wis., with three employees, the company moved to Ixonia in 1978. After the addition of a stamping press for die testing, the company expanded with a stamping plant in 1999 and new manufacturing facility in 2000.
