Steel Warehouse to open $27 million North Carolina facility

Family-owned steel service center Steel Warehouse has announced it will open a facility in Hickory, N.C., an investment of $27 million over the next four years. The project is expected to create 58 jobs.

The Indiana-based company operates 15 locations across the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil, distributing coil, sheet, and plate in hot- and cold-rolled materials to such industries as aerospace, agriculture, automotive, construction, energy, and transportation.
