Quality Steel Fabrication adds 8-kW fiber laser
Quality Steel Fabrication has installed a CL-985 8-kW fiber optic laser from Cincinnati Inc. at its custom metal fabrication shop in Sidney, Ohio, reports the Sidney Daily News. Featuring 12,000-IPM linear motor axis drives, the system can handle 1-in.-thick aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel in 5- by 10-ft. sheets.
In addition to laser cutting, the company offers bending, machining, and welding services.
