Bystronic appoints new Americas region president

Hoffman Estates, Ill.-based Bystronic Inc. has announced that John -Paul Surdo will take over as Americas region president on Oct. 1, 2023, in preparation for the retirement of Robert St. Aubin from this position at the end of the year.

Surdo has more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management. Before joining the company, he worked in multiple functions at NCH Corp. He holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.

Bystronic is a worldwide supplier of laser cutting systems, press brakes, automation, and software for the processing of sheet metal and tubes.
