Myer Companies plans Alabama expansion

Engineering, fabrication, and repair services provider Myer Companies LLC has announced plans to add a 10,000-sq.-ft. steel building at its Mobile County, Ala., industrial operations to house a coatings department. The $2.6 million project is expected to create 26 jobs over the next three years.

The facility, scheduled to begin operations in December, will eliminate weather-related challenges in completing painting and blasting projects outdoors.
