CNC digitizing canned cycle introduced

Diversified Machine Systems has introduced a simplified CNC digitizing canned cycle developed by Fagor Automation. Designed to reduce digitizing setup time, the cycle allows the operator to set up the CNC machine center in a few minutes for digitizing simple or complex parts by using a single fill-in-the-blank page that contains pertinent parameters.

After completing the digitizing cycle, the user can edit the programmed point-to-point program with feeds, speeds, and tool commands and execute or download them for further manipulation. The digitizing cycle is available on the Fagor 8055 line of CNC products, which is used on many of Diversified Machine Systems' CNC machine centers. Most probing systems are adaptable to the Fagor 8055.
