Online product configurator aids caster design
Caster Concepts Inc. has partnered with PARTsolutions to launch an online product configurator, providing CAD models that can be integrated into engineering designs.
The company's catalog of more than 20,000 standard, off-the-shelf products has been converted into an online catalog with 2-D drawings and 3-D CAD models available for download in more than 150 formats. The online product configurator for nonstandard products enables users to build their own custom casters or wheels based on predetermined parameters.
