Nibbler transitions to process different materials

TRUMPF Inc. has released the latest-generation TruTool N 200, a hand-held nibbler that transitions to the TruTool PN 200 or PN 201 professional nibbler with a simple change of the working tool. Able to process sheet metal up to 0.080 in. thick, including corrugated sheets and trapezoidal profiles, the power tool is suitable for applications such as electrical cabinets; chassis construction; and metal roofing, building, and construction.
Weighing 4.8 lbs., the power tool leaves a burr-free, high-quality edge without distorting the metal, the company reports. The cutting head is fully rotational in increments of 45 degrees. Since the chips are ejected downward, the operator has an unobstructed view of the surface.
The PN 201 is designed for deep corrugated materials, up to 6.375 in. deep. The PN 200 navigates corrugated materials up to 3.375 in. deep, in addition to C, L, and U profiles. The N 200 is designed for flat or corrugated sheet metal and processes 0.160-in. minimum radius areas.
