Tumble belt blast machine features increased durability

Viking Blast & Wash Systems has released a newly redesigned tumble belt blast machine. The 7-cu.-ft. model 700s incorporates changes to the loader and discharge belt options that make it durable in heavy-duty and foundry operations.

The unit is equipped with a manganese steel flight belt with a 1,600-lb. load capacity, one 25-HP VK Powermax blast wheel, and a 3-HP bucket elevator abrasive lifting system with airwash separator to clean abrasive before blasting. The blast cabinet is constructed of 0.375-in.-thick steel plate and reinforced with structural steel as needed. Cabinet liners and barrel-head liners are made of manganese alloy.

Options include a rotary scalping drum for removing debris from blast media, a loader, a take-away belt, and an auxiliary abrasive hopper.
