Lincoln Electric offers the Radius™ line of welding brushes, designed for cleaning base material before welding starts and between each pass. The line contains several models, organized by base material.
The stainless steel brush has steel-wire bristles and comes in three sizes: a small, toothbrush-style, 3- by 7-row wire brush for light cleaning in confined areas; 2- by 9-row with a slightly curved handle for general light cleaning; and a 3- by 19-row for efficient surface cleaning in general-purpose applications.
The aluminum brush features brass-wire bristles designed to remove the oxide layer that can form on aluminum. It comes in a compact, toothbrush-style, 3- by 7-row brush for light cleaning in hard-to-reach areas and a 2- by 9-row brush with a slightly curved handle for general light cleaning.
The carbon steel brush features tempered-steel bristles. The 3- by 19-row brush handles general cleaning, while the 4- by 16-row brush with curved handle is designed for removal of rust, mill scale, and paint.
