Inverter designed for microjoining applications

Miyachi America offers the IPB-5000A inverter, a resistance welding power supply for microjoining applications.

The power supply features 5-kHz fast feedback and operates in constant-current, voltage, or power feedback modes. It also can weld in combo mode. Maximum output is 6,000 amps.

The closed-loop power supply includes features used to check weld resistance before applying high welding current.
