The Metal Shop installs tube laser with nesting software
The Metal Shop LLC, a custom fabricator in Pleasant Prairie, Wis., has purchased a Mazak FabriGear tube laser with a maximum capacity of 6 in. in the largest dimension. It handles tubes up to 26 ft. long and has a full 5-axis head and built-in tapping.
The company also has installed SigmaTube software from SigmaTek to program the laser. The cutting and nesting software can take complete tube assemblies and nest them automatically.
