Goodhart Sons opens new pipe fabrication facility

Steel fabricator and installer Goodhart Sons Inc. has opened a new pipe fabrication facility at its Lancaster, Pa., headquarters. Creation of the facility, located in existing space previously used for machining and metal fabrication, was driven by customer demand for additional pipe fabrication capacity and capability.

With the expansion, the company has increased its material capabilities to include chrome and alloy materials as a supplement to existing carbon and stainless steel fabrication offerings. Size capability has increased to 48 in. dia.

A key component of the expansion is the development of a new internal estimating tool that allows for rapid project estimating.
