Ice Industries designated a Steelcase Premier Supplier

One year after its first production shipments to Steelcase, Sylvania, Ohio-based Ice Industries has been designated as a Steelcase Premier Supplier. The designation is awarded to companies that meet and maintain rigorous relationship, quality, and delivery standards.

Ice Industries’ metal stamping facility in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, which serves Steelcase’s Reynosa, Mexico, chair assembly plant, was one of two dozen of Steelcase's hundreds of direct suppliers chosen to receive the award. Ice Industries successfully moved the stamping business from the U.S. to its own facility in Mexico over a nine-month period. During the launch process, Ice never missed a shipment and achieved the metrics necessary to receive the award.
