Beckwood Press hires technical support engineer

Beckwood Press Co., a St. Louis-based supplier of hydraulic presses and automated systems, has announced the addition of Dan Frederich as technical support engineer and electrical controls specialist. In this position, he facilitates the supply of hydraulic press replacement parts, generates proposals for system upgrades, and manages the company’s field service efforts.

Frederich has more than 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, as well as a degree in industrial automation technologies. In addition to leading the company’s technical support efforts, he also assists with robotic system integration, PLC and HMI programming and implementation, control system designs, electrical schematics and control panel layout, and machine commissioning.
