ATW Companies names president of Judson Smith division

ATW Companies, a manufacturer of stamped and machined metal components and tubing in Warwick, R.I., has hired Mike Howard as president of its Judson Smith division.

Howard has more than a decade of high-level leadership experience in the manufacturing engineering field. Before joining the company, he was general manager of a division of Parker Hannifin in Cleveland, where he was responsible for all aspects of business development, strategic planning, operational planning and management, sales and marketing, and globalization activities. He also held other senior positions at the firm, leading engineering, product management, and operational functions.

Howard holds an MBA in integrative management from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Western Michigan University.
