Steel Parts Mfg. to close Indiana plant
Steel Parts Mfg. Inc., a manufacturer of precision components for automotive and heavy-duty vehicle transmissions, has announced plans to close its 185,000-sq.-ft. plant in Tipton, Ind., by March 14.
The closure will eliminate 173 jobs.
