MEP Group acquires Artmetco

MEP Group, Laval, Que., has announced its acquisition of Artmetco Inc., Saint-Laurent, Que. The team of MEP Technologies (owned by MEP Group) and Artmetco offers a turnkey approach for fabricated products. The companies provide mechanical design, new-product implementation, redesign of existing products, revision upgrade management, and maintenance of legacy products.

ogether, the companies have 350 employees working in four plants with a total area of more than 250,000 sq. ft. The partnership also makes it possible to offer an assembly option at another business unit located in China.

Artmetco's current president, Dan Kucer, remains with the company.
