MEC names VP of strategy, capital, and continuous improvement

Fabricating company Mayville Engineering Co. Inc. (MEC), Mayville, Wis., a supply chain partner for OEMs, has hired Chad Mitts as vice president of strategy, capital, and continuous improvement. He has nearly 20 years of leadership and manufacturing experience.

Mitts served most recently as general manager of Meritor Inc.’s North American Brake and Driveline business. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois.
