Pferd opens training center in Wisconsin

Pferd Inc. has opened the Pferd Training Academy at its manufacturing facility in Milwaukee. The facility — a safe, controlled working environment equipped with a variety of power tools and product samples — is designed to provide sales representatives with product knowledge and hands-on experience. It is staffed by an experienced team of technical experts, all trained at the company's worldwide headquarters in Marienheide, Germany.

Courses include comprehensive classroom sessions and practical laboratory applications covering the company's line of abrasives, TC burrs, files, mounted points, specialty abrasive products, brushes, and power tools. Training sessions in 2013 will run for 2.5 days with meals, lodging, and ground transportation to and from the airport provided for all attendees. All training manuals and materials will be provided, and participants who complete the program successfully will receive certificates of completion.
