Reliance Steel & Aluminum completes acquisition of Aluminium Services UK Ltd.

Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. has announced that effective Aug. 1 it has acquired all of the capital stock of Aluminium Services UK Ltd., the holding company parent of All Metal Services (AMS), an independent raw material service provider to the aerospace and defense industries.

Established in 1974, AMS supports customers in 40 countries, offering full or cut-to-size metals, including aluminum, steel, titanium, nickel alloys, and aluminum bronze.

The company has five locations in the U.K., along with locations in France, Malaysia, and China, as well as a sales office in India. It will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., through U.K. holding companies. Current management will remain in place.
