Pferd launches ergonomics program

Pferd Inc., a manufacturer of abrasives and surface finishing tools in Leominster, Mass., has launched the Pferdergonomics program, focusing on long-term user health through the reduction of dust, noise, and vibration levels and the improvement of tool haptics.

In addition to manufacturing products that help minimize these hazards, the company offers Ergoscan, an on-site service that scientifically compares existing ergonomic loads in the work environment against Pferdergonomics recommendations.
