Schenke Tool adds second robotic welder

Schenke Tool Co., Paradise, Pa., has installed its second robotic welding machine — a Yaskawa Motoman ArcWorld system. According to the company, the machine is suitable for small to medium-sized parts produced at medium to high volumes.

Dual independent workstations allow operators to load and unload parts on one station while parts are being welded on the other station. The two headstock and tailstock positioners allow for rotation, providing access to hard-to-reach areas.

The company offers custom in-house tooling and fixturing to help improve part consistency and precision. Other capabilities include CNC milling and turning, 3- and 5-axis waterjet cutting, short-run stamping, and GMAW and GTAW services.
