Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies names award-winning suppliers

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies, Plymouth, Mich., has announced the recipients of its 2013 Supplier Excellence Achievement Level (SEAL) Awards.

The SEAL Awards are divided into gold, silver, and bronze levels for chemical and metal suppliers. A supplier performance scorecard is used to rank each supplier in the areas of quality, delivery, cost management, technology, and overall service to Freudenberg-NOK and its manufacturing sites.

Winners in the metal and metal fabrication supplier category are:

• Gold: American Steel and Aluminum LLC, Auburn, Mass.
• Silver: Prospect Machine Products Inc., Prospect, Conn.
• Bronze: Combined Metals of Chicago, Bellwood, Ill., and Elgiloy Specialty Metals, Hampshire, Ill.

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is the Americas joint venture between Freudenberg and Co. in Germany and NOK Corp. in Japan. The firm produces sealing products for markets including aerospace, agriculture, appliance, automotive, construction, diesel engine, energy, food and beverage, heavy industry, and pharmaceutical.
