Jones & Lockhart Welding to move headquarters
Jones & Lockhart Welding Inc. has announced plans to relocate in St. Louis in March. The welding and fabrication shop will move from a 16,000-sq.-ft. building in St. Louis County to a 4.5-acre, 51,000-sq.-ft. site in the city.
The company purchased the building for $820,000 and will invest $460,000 in renovations for electrical work and office upgrades. Another $250,000 investment will cover new equipment, including cranes and heat-treat ovens.
The company includes another in-house operation, Thermco Inc., which offers stress-relieving and heat-treating services.
