ESAB wins 2013 sales and customer service award
ESAB Cutting Systems, a provider of welding filler metals, equipment, and accessories in Florence, S.C., has been awarded the 2013 Gold Stevie Award for Sales and Customer Service. The company was recognized as the Sales Turnaround of the Year from more than 1,200 entries from organizations in various industries around the globe.
The company's sales group used weekly team meetings to analyze what was producing results with customers. This allowed the team to meet sales goals that were not attainable for individual sales representatives. The strategy made the sales team the fastest-growing division in the company.
