Press automation system integrates functions in encoder-based package

Toledo Integrated Systems has introduced its DPPlus basic press automation system that integrates four die protection inputs, eight programmable limit switches, brake monitor with brake test, motion detection, and job storage in an encoder-based package.

Designed for mounting in a NEMA enclosure or in an existing panel, the system also features batch, part, and stroke counters; 50 job storage recipes; alphanumeric user-programmed names; speed compensation; password protection; and press position display.

When used with the company's press controls, clutch/brake fault and prompt messages can be displayed on the system.
