Tool calibration system verifies, restores punching station alignment

The Mate Pilot tool calibration system from Mate Precision Tooling is designed to verify and restore the angular alignment of punching stations of a turret press.

The system, consisting of a matched set of upper and lower interlocking components that are loaded into the machine's turret upper and lower chambers, operates in two modes. In verification mode, the system confirms the precise concentric and angular alignment of the punch press turret. In alignment mode, the system restores the concentric and angular alignment of each station.

Tool calibration sets are available for Amada thick-turret and Finn-Power presses in A Station 1/2 in., B Station 1-1/4 in., C Station 2 in., D Station 3-1/2 in., and E station 4-1/2 in.
