New steel extends punch life

Wilson Tool's Ultima™ premium tool steel has been engineered to extend tool life when punching abrasive materials and materials with high tensile strength.

The new composition reduces cutting edge microchipping. According to the company, regrind intervals for tools made from this steel are up to twice as long as intervals for tools made from conventional steels.
