Bosch Rexroth consolidates Detroit branch offices

August 07, 2007

Bosch Rexroth Corp., Hoffman Estates, Ill., has begun consolidation of its Detroit branch offices, moving employees from the Intelligent Hydraulic Drives™ (IHD) unit to a 57,000-sq.-ft. facility in Rochester Hills, Mich. The company plans to relocate employees from its Auburn Hills, Mich., office at the end of the year.

Acquired last year from the Dana Corp., IHD develops, engineers, and integrates hybrid hydraulic components for motor vehicles. The Auburn Hills facility houses competency centers for all four of the company's industrial technology groups—electric drives and controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and linear motion and assembly. It also serves as a regional sales center, hosting global account management teams.
