Nesting software supports common lasers, waterjets used in Asia

MTC Software Inc. says its ProNest® nesting software now offers support for laser and waterjet cutting brands commonly used in Asian markets, such as Hankwang, Daewoo, Nisshinbo, and TOPS. The software already supports the TRUMPF®, Bystronic, Mitsubishi, Amada, OMAX®, and Flow brands.

The software includes process-specific features, including collision avoidance with automatic moving of leads for laser systems, and dynamic piercing and flexible feed-rate ramping for waterjet systems.
