BBJ names SolidWorks one of Massachusetts' best places to work

SolidWorks Corp., Concord, Mass., has been named as one of the best places to work in Massachusetts by the Boston Business Journal for the fourth consecutive year.

SolidWorks made the top-20 list in the midsize category. Companies are named based on results of employee-engagement surveys, and SolidWorks was one of 328 companies nominated.

A supplier of 3-D CAD technology, the midsize company offers its employees "Innovation Fridays” to encourage new ideas, on-site Weight Watchers meetings, personal finance seminars, an on-site health club, and foreign language training.
