Polyurethane spring designed for I/O jaw tooling

Eagle Precision Technologies Ltd. has introduced a polyurethane spring—called a peanut—for its range of I/O jaw tooling.

The patent-pending spring is designed for placement between each segment of the I/O jaw. Filling the space between the jaws helps to eliminate cavities in which oil and debris can get caught.

The company plans to release new jaw designs with the springs as standard for straight tube calibration and sizing applications.
