Bosch Rexroth to acquire fluid filter manufacturer

Bosch Rexroth, Hoffman Estates, Ill., a provider of drive and control technologies from mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics to electronics and associated service, has announced plans to acquire K. & H. Eppensteiner, Ketsch, Germany, a manufacturer of fluid filters for installation in hydraulic and lubrication oil systems. The companies signed a purchase agreement in March.

Eppensteiner's product portfolio also includes complete systems for purifying and recycling hydraulic and lubrication oil. Bosch Rexroth says the acquisition will help expand its product line in hydraulic accessory components for mobile and industrial applications.
